Norm Markham

I have the privilege of teaching Collision Repair for the Dennis Center! Since graduating from Borah High and completing the Collision repair program at the Dennis Center, I have been able to come full circle. As I teach and mentor high school students, I get to share my love for the industry much like my teacher did for me.

My collision repair career began right after high school. From there I was able to continue learning and advancing myself in our industry by spending 11 years at Peterson Motor Co. as a collision repair technician before accepting a position managing Lithia Body and Paint of Boise.

During my time at Lithia I became involved in SkillsUSA and volunteered and judged in the state collision repair competition. It’s there that I realized my passion for sharing our industry with our youth and soon after applied for a job with the Dennis Center. I was hired from the district in 2008 and also teach for I-CAR which is an international not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing the information, knowledge and skills required to perform complete, safe and quality repairs.
